About the Role As Packaging Artwork Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing high-quality, technically accurate packaging and labelling artwork across own-label and branded product lines. This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring all artwork is compliant with relevant healthcare regulations and reflects the company’s brand vision. You\’ll manage the full artwork process, from concept to approval, and maintain centralised documentation for all packaging levels. Why This Role? Liaise with Product Managers and external clients to prepare cutter guides for private label and branded products. Manage approvals and maintain up-to-date packaging and labelling documentation in a centralised system. Ensure back-of-pack layouts and labelling are compliant with MDR and healthcare-specific requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure artwork meets design intent, technical specs, and brand guidelines. Handle full file preparation for production, including formatting, bleed, colour profiles, and pre-press checks. Act as the primary contact for packaging suppliers, including sourcing samples, lead times, and specifications. Coordinate internal change control and artwork approval workflows. Support range extensions and update existing artwork with accuracy and speed. Maintain quality control across all stages of the packaging design process. Ideal Candidate Profile Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related discipline. 5 years of experience in packaging artwork production, ideally within a regulated or medical device environment. Proven knowledge of MDR labelling requirements or equivalent healthcare regulatory standards. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Strong portfolio showcasing creative packaging design and technical execution. Excellent attention to detail, project management, and stakeholder communication. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
