Our client is a market-leading medical device company empowering individuals with chronic bowel disorders. Due to rapid growth, an opportunity has become available for someone to join this ambitious team as a Nurse Specialist in the Midlands and South West.
The role is aimed at new and existing patients, to help them have a successful journey using rectal irrigation, ensuring a high standard of nursing care and support is maintained.
The job holder will also develop and grow strong clinical and business relationships with healthcare professionals, encouraging their interest, collaboration, and support.
Key requirements:- The ability to develop new business and maintain existing business by supporting growth and sales with key healthcare professionals.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Negotiate and close agreements with high-potential customers.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Act as a role model of expert clinical practice, empowering others through effective role modelling, teaching and team working.
- Establish effective working relationships with healthcare professionals to develop the service and gain appropriate referrals.
- Deliver personal targets.
- The role will be home-based with regional and some national travel.
To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following criteria:
- Degree in Nursing (desirable).
- Hold a current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
- 5+ years of qualified nursing practice.
- Experience in rectal irrigation (desirable).
- Proven record of accomplishment of delivering results, and high initiative.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including communication, collaboration and negotiation capabilities.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Effective oral and written communication with medical professionals, peers, and senior management.
- Ability to independently set and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to travel regionally, occasionally nationally.
