Our client is a leader in the endoscopy world, offering the best service and value to both NHS and private sector customers alike. Their mission is to work with our customers to offer solutions for endoscopy maintenance and repairs. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a Field Sales Executive to join their expanding team.
The role aims to optimise sales volumes, margins, and growth opportunities through long-term professional and proactive relationships with an existing customer portfolio and to research, identify and target new products, market opportunities and customers in line with agreed business strategy and plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Meet challenging business sales growth targets in line with the company’s growth aspirations as well as increasing the spend of current client accounts.
- Gather market intelligence and communicate opportunities for real change in key business processes and methodologies that will facilitate business growth in line with the requirements of our clients.
- Map the market and populate the CRM, develop a pipeline and report progress monthly.
- Overall responsibility to develop and cement existing relationships with key accounts.
- Provide/write and present technical literature as required.
- Attend relevant conferences and meetings.
To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following job profile:
- A proven sales background in Endoscopy or a similar field is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience of the NHS structure, tendering and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.
- Technical astuteness: being able to discuss client’s technical requirements in some depth and provide resolutions to queries.
- A high level of professionalism, tenacity, a positive mental attitude, excellent negotiation skills and high levels of emotional intelligence.
