Our client is a leading UK-based MedTech company dedicated to supplying and accelerating the adoption of innovative, patient-focused medical technologies and techniques. They have a passion for education and product support, collaborating with key opinion leaders to communicate new ideas and innovations.

As part of their expansion, we are looking for an Education Manager in Southern UK (Southern England and South Wales up to Birmingham). The role will be focused on providing both theoretical and practical education for cath lab staff largely on the use of catheters, microcatheters and balloons. The job holder will work alongside the Territory Managers to offer an added value service to open doors into a new account or defend a strong position from potential competitors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Meet customers across all therapy and geographical areas, as aligned with the local territory managers. Your core accounts will be in the Southern UK, geographic flexibility will be required on occasion.
  • Effective preparation and presentation of all educational content, as agreed with the therapy and territory strategy in the UK.
  • Creating networks across hospitals and territories with the aim of sharing best practices.
  • Leverage all simulators to provide an immersive educational environment.
  • Regular meetings with Territory Managers to coordinate strategic education plans.
  • Provide live frontline feedback into marketing and education bi-monthly calls ensuring the problems and opportunities that customers face, are addressed and solutions provided by either marketing or education or both.
  • Provide live market feedback on new accounts, new customer development, key opinion leaders (KOL) development, competitor activity and product launches at quarterly planning meetings.
  • Continuously develop clinical and educational acumen ensuring that we provide unrivalled in-field support to our customers.
  • Accountable for self-development in line with business needs and the growth of VP.
  • Accountable for the development of strategic partnerships within the business; with sales, marketing, and other areas of the business when the needs arise.
  • To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following criteria:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas either in a clinical or commercial role: interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, interventional neurology;
  • Enthusiasm in supporting our healthcare partners with education constantly looking for opportunities to provide these value-added services. With the end goal of improving patient outcomes.
  • Be comfortable presenting. Much of the role will require you to deliver our educational offerings confidently with consideration of the audience.
