As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be at the heart of next-generation product development and sustaining engineering. You will lead risk management and systems architecture across multidisciplinary teams (software, electronics, and mechanical) ensuring compliance with the highest safety standards. Your expertise will influence strategic decisions and technology roadmaps for future products.
Responsibilities:
- Own system requirements and architecture for complex, safety-critical systems
- Drive risk management activities (FMEA, hazard analysis) and ensure compliance with all relevant standards
- Collaborate with V&V, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to deliver robust, compliant solutions
- Lead design reviews, verification and validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Shape technology roadmaps and contribute to next-generation product innovation, including GUI interfaces, cloud connectivity, and cybersecurity for sensitive data
Requirements:
- Systems engineering experience with complex systems or devices
- Preferably software engineering background (or electronics)
- Degree in engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience in systems engineering within regulated, safety-critical industries: medical devices, defence, nuclear, or aerospace.
- Strong background in requirements management, risk analysis, and system architecture
- Ability to work across multiple domains and disciplines.
- Experience working in mid-sized company
