We are currently supporting a fast-growing European pharmaceutical leader known for its Hyaluronic Acid-based therapies and strong innovation pipeline across Eye Care, Joint Care, and Specialty Medicine. Following a recent acquisition in the UK market, the business is now entering a transformative growth phase, building its UK affiliate with a focus on commercial excellence, market access, and portfolio development.
With a global presence across 120+ countries, this is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the UK market during a pivotal period of expansion, backed by significant investment and long-term commitment to Eye Care.
Key Responsibilities
As Country Manager UK, you will report to the Head of Europe and be responsible for:
- Designing and delivering a 3–5-year business strategy to drive commercial growth in the UK.
- Leading and developing a lean, agile commercial team.
- Managing the transition of an existing portfolio while preparing for the launch of new products.
- Building strong partnerships with KOLs, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacy chains.
- Owning the P&L and presenting compelling business cases to global leadership.
- Navigating UK healthcare structures to ensure market access and reimbursement pathways.
- Acting as a coach and field leader, staying close to operations while steering strategic vision.
- Ensuring regulatory, legal, and ethical compliance across all UK operations.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with global HQ to align on strategic priorities.
Your Background:
We\’re looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially minded leader who is ready to take full ownership of a national affiliate. The ideal candidate will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in a commercial leadership role within pharmaceuticals.
- Proven success in launching and scaling brands, particularly in Eye Care, hospital medicine, or specialist therapeutic areas.

- Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and developing high-performing teams.
