We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Director – Orthopaedic Reconstruction to lead and execute the commercial strategy. This role holds full responsibility for commercial revenue growth, market expansion, and commercial excellence across our reconstruction portfolio.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise within the arthroplasty market, specifically TOS3 / NHSSC, strong leadership capabilities and a proven ability to drive sustainable growth in surgeon-led and hospital-based markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the overall commercial strategy for the organisation
  • Own revenue, margin, and market share performance across assigned regions or markets
  • Lead and align Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to ensure integrated execution
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing sales and commercial teams
  • Establish strong relationships with key surgeons, hospital executives, distributors, and KOLs
  • Drive pricing strategy, tender management, and contract negotiations
  • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, R&D, and Supply Chain to support product launches and portfolio growth
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and ethical standards
Qualifications & Experience
  • Significant experience in orthopaedic reconstruction and TOS3 / NHSSC
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing regional or national sales teams
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and market expansion in complex healthcare systems
  • Strong understanding of surgeon-driven markets, hospital procurement, and tender processes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations preferred
