The person in this role is responsible for promoting and expanding the company’s presence in the UK healthcare market by selling a diverse range of medical equipment across multiple healthcare sectors, including NHS Trusts, NHS & Private Ambulance Services, Dentists, Private Healthcare Providers, Distributors, and OEMs.

Covering Scotland and North-East England the Area Business Manager will be responsible for driving growth within the UK healthcare market, ensuring both the retention and expansion of existing accounts while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities. Success in this role will be measured through sustained revenue growth, market penetration, and the development of strong customer relationships.

The successful candidate will have experience of selling in to the healthcare sector and ideally in the EBME area.

Key Performance Objectives:

• Account Management & Growth: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction, loyalty, and increased sales. Proactively identify opportunities to expand product offerings within these accounts.

• New Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities across all relevant healthcare sectors, including NHS Trusts, NHS & Private Ambulance Services, Dentists, Private Healthcare Providers, Distributors, and OEMs. Build relationships with key decision-makers to establish long-term partnerships.

• Market Expansion: Develop a deep understanding of the healthcare market, including procurement processes, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, to position the company\’s products competitively.

• Sales Performance & Target Achievement: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline, driving revenue growth, and ensuring strong market presence.

• Strategic Partnerships: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with business objectives and customer needs.

• Brand Representation & Promotion: Act as an ambassador for the company, ensuring our three established brands are well-represented across all available healthcare markets.

• Customer Engagement & Support: Provide expert advice, product demonstrations, and support to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions to meet their needs.

• Reporting & Market Insights: Regularly report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to contribute to data-driven business decisions.

By successfully delivering on these objectives, the Area Business Manager will play a key role in strengthening the company\’s presence in the UK healthcare sector, driving both customer satisfaction and business growth.
