International Candidate Manager │Medical Devices
Are you a skilled finance professional looking to take ownership of the full accounting function for a dynamic and growing business? We’re seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, drive reporting excellence, and provide strategic input within a well-established international organisation.
This is a full-time hybrid position — offering flexibility and a chance to work at both operational and strategic levels in a company with a global footprint and strong legacy.
About the Company:
With a legacy dating back to 1946, the organisation is a European-headquartered multinational pharmaceutical company known for its expertise in Hyaluronic Acid-based therapies . Its product portfolio spans across Joint Care, Skin Care, Eye Care, Health & Wellness, and Specialty Medicine .
The company combines in-house R&D, manufacturing, marketing , and sales capabilities , and maintains a presence in 120+ countries through a network of local partners, distributors, and wholly owned subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and reconciliations
- Lead monthly and annual financial closing and reporting activities
- Prepare management reports, including P&L, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting
- Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and internal financial policies
- Liaise with auditors, manage VAT and CIT submissions, and oversee financial audits
- Monitor budgets, track financial performance, and support cost control efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global headquarters on reporting and planning
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the finance functio
What You’ll Bring:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Proven experience in UK-based financial reporting and management
- Deep understanding of UK tax, accounting standards, and compliance practices
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across borders
- Experience supporting multinational or group-level reporting preferred
