Our client is a leading, global developer and manufacturer of medical devices utilised in hospitals and community settings. Due to their continued growth, they are now seeking an Account Manager across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. This region contains flagship accounts, so we are looking for an experienced Account Manager capable of building trust swiftly, establishing relationships and providing excellent proactive service throughout the territory.
Working across both acute and community environments, this individual will also be tasked to seek further growth opportunities by partnering with customers at a senior level, including nursing leads, department heads, and meds management and procurement.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales and profit targets on product portfolio, completing quarterly business reviews, and forming action plans to create opportunities.
- Ownership of pipeline and forecasting opportunities.
- Partnering with customers to promote value-based proposals.
- Responsible for knowledge of all local contracts and tenders.
- Develop a strong network of key stakeholders, including KOLs.
To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of medical sales experience.
- Embody true professionalism, demonstrate attention to detail and have excellent account management skills.
- Ideally have acute and community sales experience.
- Ideally have demonstrable tender experience & track record of formulary successes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
