We are looking for a skilled Service and Installation Engineer to join our team, working across a wide range of fire and security systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing, forward-thinking company where your skills and initiative will be truly valued. As part of the team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining a wide variety of Fire & Security systems, ensuring our customers receive the highest standards of safety and service.
What you will be doing
- Install, commission, service and maintain fire and security systems
- Attend emergency callouts and complete routine/reactive maintenance
- Review job specs and drawings to plan efficient project delivery
- Identify and report potential upgrade or sales opportunities
- Complete accurate electronic job sheets, timesheets, and reports
- Maintain clear communication with the Helpdesk and supervisors
- Support colleagues with technical advice and site assistance
- Represent the company professionally and maintain issued equipment
Who we are looking for
- 2-5+ years' experience in the fire & security industry
- Skilled in fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of relevant BS & EN standards
- Experience with systems such as Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Morley, etc.
- Confident communicator with good IT skills (MS Office + software tools)
- Organised, self-motivated, and customer-focused
- Full UK driving licence
