The Role. Guide Flyfishing seeks a highly skilled and experienced International Sales Manager to join our expanding team. This role will focus on driving sales across our growing international business while collaborating with our UK Sales Manager on selected initiatives within the UK market. This pivotal position requires a strong sales background, industry experience, and proven ability to hit and exceed targets. As we grow our presence in international markets, this role will be instrumental in developing and implementing sales strategies that deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will bring energy, expertise, and the ability to work independently while fostering relationships with key accounts and dealers. With travel across Scandinavia and our home markets, this position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future growth of Guide Flyfishing. Key Responsibilities. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets across Scandinavia and Ireland. Build strong relationships with dealers and key accounts to maximise sales opportunities. Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, particularly in developing regions. Travel in Scandinavia and the home markets to visit dealers, attend events and conduct in-person meetings. Provide detailed sales forecasts and regular reporting to management, highlighting opportunities, challenges, and results. Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align campaigns with sales goals and dealer needs. Represent Guide Flyfishing at trade shows, dealer events, and other industry functions to promote our brands and strengthen partnerships. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and dealer feedback to refine strategies and identify growth areas. Collaborate with the UK Sales Manager on projects and initiatives within the UK market. Required Skills. Strong sales background with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets. Extensive experience in the industry, with a deep understanding of product and sales dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to create accurate forecasts and sales reports. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. Experience with CRM systems and sales tools to track progress and manage accounts.
