This lead role is responsible for coordinating a group of volunteers to raise funds through events or other activities, delegating tasks to other members of the group as required and being the key contact in the local area.

We’re looking for someone who is interested in volunteering with people and dogs, enjoys organising events, and wants to lead a team of volunteer Fundraisers in their local area. What will you be doing? As Deputy Fundraising Group Coordinator, you will help your group smash their goal. You can chat with the Fundraising Group Coordinator about how you share the role and what areas you both can concentrate on. Build lasting partnerships with the fundraising groups and your local community, inspiring people to get involved and have fun. Bring your own ideas and personality to the group; the more great minds we have together the better plans we can make. Work with the Fundraising Group Coordinator to share the organisation between you, using your group’s strengths. Lead the fundraising group when the Group Coordinator is away. Talk to local businesses and identify places that can host events, bringing these suggestions to the group and working together to make these plans a reality. Champion Guide Dogs and our work, sharing our stories in your local community. Inspire more volunteers to join Guide Dogs and become fundraising volunteers.
