We are committed to providing services for people with low vision or blindness by tailoring solutions to help overcome barriers and build independent and fulfilling lives. We are united in our shared mission of creating opportunities, championing the rights of people with low vision or blindness, and building communities who share our mindset and ambition for accessibility and inclusivity. With a strong culture of innovation, learning, flexibility and belonging, we live our values and allow our team members to be the best version of themselves inside and outside work.

We're looking for an experienced Content and Creative Producer to join our Future Services program — a major initiative redesigning how Guide Dogs NSW/ACT supports people with low vision or blindness to live more independently and access the services they need. This is a 12 month contract working 4 days per week. This is a hands-on role where you'll expand on our existing content foundations and build the digital marketing infrastructure for Client Services including email journeys, content library, and content calendar that connect GDN with its clients.

About the role:

  • This is a varied, end-to-end content production role creating and managing digital, marketing and communication assets across a fast-paced program.
  • You’ll combine creativity with strong technical capability, working across content creation, email marketing, video production and digital platforms.
  • You’ll also:
    • Produce content across multiple formats (video, social media, print, digital and articles).
    • Build and manage a central content library and content calendar.
    • Design and deliver client email journeys using Active Campaign.
    • Produce videos end-to-end, from concept and scripting through to editing.
    • Plan and deliver webinars using Zoom and Microsoft tools.
    • Manage digital platforms and ensure content is scheduled, accessible and on-brand.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure content meets program and client needs.
    • Produce content that meets accessibility requirements for blind and low vision audience.
    • Work closely with practitioners and subject matter experts to turn complex service information into clear, engaging content.

About you:

You're an experienced content professional who combines strong creative and technical capability — comfortable both expanding on existing foundations and building new ones in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You’ll bring:

  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Suite and Canva.
  • Experience designing and managing email campaigns (Active Campaign or similar).
  • Strong copywriting skills across different audiences and formats.
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience managing content calendars and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience producing accessible content, ideally for audiences with disability or vision impairment.
  • Experience building and managing content libraries and content calendars.

Benefits that Guide Dogs offer:

  • A competitive remuneration package is available commensurate with skills and experience, which includes tax free salary packaging of up to $15,900.
  • EAP - Get support when you need it with Employee Assistance Program counselling sessions.
  • Me Days – Receive two paid days per year to support your health and wellbeing.
  • Paid Parental Leave – take time to bond with your new child with 15 weeks paid leave after qualification period.
  • The option to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave each year.
  • Employee benefits program and Reward and Recognition program.
  • Support for your professional development including paid study leave and educational assistance.
  • Join an organisation that makes a meaningful and positive impact on our society.
