We're looking for a skilled and curious Business Improvement Analyst to join our Future Services program — a major initiative redesigning how Guide Dogs NSW/ACT supports people with low vision or blindness to live more independently and access the services they need. This is a Full Time (35 hours per week) 12 month contract position.
About the role:
This is more than a traditional Business Analyst role. You'll take a whole of service view across systems, data and processes turning complex information into practical improvements. A big focus of the role is Salesforce (Phoenix), where you'll work on configuration, integration and automation to strengthen how our systems support service delivery.
You will also:
- Develop and enhance Salesforce workflows, automation and integrations
- Build dashboards and reporting (Power BI) to track program outcomes
- Map and improve business processes across pilots and projects
- Translate data and technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Identify opportunities to streamline systems and reduce manual work
- Collaborate closely with IT, Salesforce teams and program stakeholders
- Own user acceptance testing for Salesforce changes before they go live, ensuring configuration works as intended in practice
- Maintain data quality and governance standards to ensure reporting is reliable and fit for decision-making
About you:
- Strong experience in business analysis, service improvement or similar
- Extensive Salesforce experience (configuration, automation and integration essential)
- Experience working with APIs, system integrations and automation
- Strong data and reporting capability (Power BI or similar)
- Excellent process mapping and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Knowledge of AI tools and their practical application in a service or program context
