This is a hands-on role where you will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable applications while driving innovation in cloud and search technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and resolve defects with a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality applications.
  • Share knowledge and mentor colleagues, fostering technical growth within the team.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver robust technical solutions.
  • Contribute to modernisation efforts, including:
  • Migrating from Elasticsearch to OpenSearch.
  • Moving capabilities to AWS cloud.
  • Leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance search capabilities.

Essential Skills

  • AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
  • Strong experience with Linux, AWS, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Terraform, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in Java and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Go, Rust, or Python.
  • Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
