About the Role
As a Wing Build Support Engineer, you\’ll be a key player in our Single Aisle Component Delivery Team (CDT), providing hands-on engineering support to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality wing production.
You\’ll act as the vital link between Engineering and Manufacturing, solving problems, improving processes, and driving innovation on the shop floor.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Be the go-to engineering expert on the production line, resolving design queries and supporting root cause investigations.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to develop co-design solutions that work for both design and production.
- Drive product improvements that reduce costs and non-conformances across the value stream.
- Support team coordination and act as deputy to the Delivery Team Leader when needed.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Airbus\’ goals in efficiency and sustainability.
What We\’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering value to customers.
- Experience with metallic structures (composite knowledge is a plus).
- Familiarity with engineering design tools and IT systems.
- Ability to analyse and solve technical problems independently.
- A team player who builds strong relationships and lives the Airbus values.
- Previous experience in wing structures or aerospace manufacturing is desirable.

- Location: 100% onsite at our Broughton Plant (flexible day shift pattern).
- Remote Work: Occasional WFH available, but this is primarily an onsite role.
