We are recruiting warehouse operators to work within an old-fashioned warehouse for the period of 11th May-17th July 2026. Please note there is a possibility this time frame may be extended.
Pay rate: £13.06 per hour
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Shift time: 14.00-22.00, Monday to Friday with the possibility of weekend work as and when needed.
Full training will be provided.
Job summary:
- Picking and packing of stationary and light furniture for client orders
- Replenishment of shelves and goods out
- Loading of vehicles and pushing cages onto the lorry ramp
You will be provided with a daily pick sheet and a trolley. You locate the items in the aisles. Once full, the trolley is taken to the packing station and packed ready for distribution.
You will cover a fair distance on foot within the warehouse and must be physically fit enough to lift and move items.
The client is based a short walk from Welwyn Garden City train station, and also has an accessible bus route. There is plenty of street parking a 5 minute walk away if their shared car park is full.
