Job Description
As a trusted partner to the UKs Ministry of Defence, our client is seeking a Technical Software Documentation Officer to support multiple development teams across project management and software delivery. What Do You Need?:Seeking a process champion to support software teams in planning, documentation, configuration, and delivery; key skills required include:
- Proven experience working within software processes in high-reliability, safety-critical, or regulated sectors.
- Solid understanding of the full Software Engineering Lifecycle and its application across multiple programmes.
- Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to support delivery milestones.
- Providing configuration management and software input to ensure consistency and traceability.
- Supporting a variety of programmes simultaneously, adapting to evolving priorities.
- Collaborating directly with software engineers and project leads to align on delivery objectives.
- Liaising with internal teams such as test engineers and lab custodians to ensure smooth integration.
- Assisting in the delivery of integration artefacts and supporting documentation for project handovers.
