Systems Verification & Certification Engineer Land Ceptor Air Defence £70/hour Umbrella | Inside IR35 | 37 hrs/week | Hybrid 3 days/week on-site, Bristol
Opportunity for contract extension or permanent conversion.
Play a critical role in delivering a proven, export-winning air defence system. Land Ceptor is already protecting the skies for the British Army and now it's heading to Poland under the NAREW programme, alongside other major defence contracts. We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer (V&V) to join the Functional Development team and help take this capability from design through to certified, mission-ready delivery.
This isn't a back-office compliance role; you'll be embedded in a multi-disciplinary engineering team (systems, mechanical, electrical, software), directly shaping how a live weapon system gets verified, validated, and certified for customers who depend on it working, first time, every time.
- Leading design reconciliation activity linked to design change and obsolescence
- Hands-on experience with IBM Rational DOORS Classic
- Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification evidence in a regulated engineering environment
£70/hour Umbrella a strong rate reflecting the seniority and specialism this role demands. Hybrid working just 3 days/week on-site. Based at a state-of-the-art defence site in Bristol with excellent transport links and a strong social, sporting and charitable community.
