This is an opportunity to work on advanced RF seeker systems within a leading defence programme supporting the UK Ministry of Defence. You will join a specialist Systems Design (SDMS) team, contributing to the development of complex missile sub-systems, with a focus on architecture definition, requirements management, and system integration. This role offers exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and the opportunity to work across the full system lifecycle in a highly collaborative engineering environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Contributing to the definition of system architecture, applying MBSE principles
  • Eliciting, developing and managing system requirements across the lifecycle
  • Creating Functional and Physical Architectures using SysML or similar modelling approaches
  • Supporting system integration, verification and validation activities
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of operational and functional concepts for seeker technologies

What we're looking for:

Essential experience:

  • Strong background in Systems Engineering within complex engineering environments
  • Experience in requirements elicitation, definition and lifecycle management
  • Practical use of MBSE methodologies (e.g. SysML, UML, ARCADIA or similar)
  • Experience developing system architectures and specifications
  • Ability to work across cross-functional engineering teams

Desirable experience:

  • Experience with DOORS / DOORS Next / Rhapsody / Capella
  • Exposure to modelling
