The post holder will join the Faculty Marketing and Communications Team to support the Student Recruitment Marketing and Admissions team. This will include operational aspects of admissions processes and student recruitment events and communications, working flexibly to support activities across the faculty. They will be familiar with HE admissions, social media promotions and able to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, engaging copy for website updates, aligned with brand tone.
- Support design improvements by advising on layout, structure, and user experience.
- Ensure content and design work together to improve engagement and conversions.
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective students and staff, managing enquiries across multiple channels and escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Manage the student ambassador scheme, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support.
- Ensure ambassadors represent the brand effectively across digital and in-person channels.
- Draft correspondence and maintain accurate student records, reports, and letters.
- Administer postgraduate and undergraduate admissions in collaboration with Student Recruitment and Admissions Coordinators, Admissions Tutors and Client's registry.
- Work with the Marketing and Student Recruitment Coordinators to deliver a comprehensive range of recruitment activities including Open Days, Offer Holder Events, WP events, webinars, and international school visits (in-person and virtual).
- Gather and create social media content to engage potential students, for platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook.
Person Specification:
- Experience of organising or supporting the delivery of events in a professional or voluntary capacity.
- Excellent communication skills, in person and in writing, in drafting communications for internal and external dissemination.
- Experience with digital marketing or content creation (e.g., social media, web).
- Evidence of excellent administrative skills and a highly proactive approach to providing a comprehensive support service including providing an excellent student/customer service.
- Demonstrable ability to work with confidential information with diplomacy and tact.
- Experience of working with cross-channel media marketing.
