Job Description
Street Cleansing Operative for PRIDE\\n\\nStreet Cleansing Operatives required for the PRIDE weekend, 2nd - 4th August 2025, in Brighton.\\n\\nYou must take pride in your work and care about keeping the city clean and tidy. Take the opportunity to soak up the party atmosphere of PRIDE.\\n\\nThe role is based around the Brighton and beach areas. Pay is £19.89 per hour.\\n\\nResponsibilities include:\\n\\nLitter-picking along the streets\\nEmptying litter bins\\nDeep cleaning areas\\nSweeping\\nUsing a barrow to move rubbishFor this position, you will need to be able to:\\n\\nWalk 7-10 miles per day\\nWork on your own and as part of a team\\nWork flexible hours across the 5 days\\nLift and carry some heavy and awkward shaped loads\\nInteract with and assist members of the public\\nRemain self-motivated to work hard\\nWork outside in all weather conditionsNo qualifications are required.
You will be inducted and trained on your first day. Any uniform you are required to wear will be provided along with all the equipment you will need.\\n\\nPlease only apply for this role if you can commit to working from Saturday 2nd August through to Monday 4th August.\\n\\nYou are responsible for your own travel arrangements.
