Join Our Team as a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner - Stoke On Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Pay: Up to £33.30 per hour (umbrella)
Location: Staffordshire

Stoke on Trent Council is currently seeking experienced Social Workers / Senior Practitioners to join their Children's Services teams. Your Role
- Complete statutory Child & Family Assessments
- Manage a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children
- Develop, implement, and review care and support plans
- Lead and contribute to multi-agency and safeguarding meetings
- Assess risk and ensure timely, effective interventions
- Support and mentor colleagues (Senior Practitioner level)
- Prepare reports and undertake court work when required
- Work closely with children, adolescents, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
