JCB, the UK's leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, are looking for keen and talented MIG Welders to join us at our site in Rocester on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
*The 4 on 4 off MIG Welder role comes with a favourable hourly rate of £29.33 per hour.* *Here are some of the daily tasks you could be handling in this fast-paced, target-driven environment:* * Welding in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) using MIG welding of mild steel
- You must possess the ability to read and understand welding drawings
- Have effective verbal and written skills
- *Requirements:*
To apply for the MIG Welding position, you will need an eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and a good timekeeping and attendance record.
Previous MIG welding experience is essential for this position.
All applicants will be required to successfully complete a client specific weld test on-site at JCB as part of the assessment process.
This may involve a butt weld, multi run, fillet weld and a boss weld.
You will need to be flexible and willing to work shifts, and shift allowances will be paid in addition to an hourly rate where applicable.
