Join Guidant as we collaborate with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. We are in search of Skilled Machinists to join Airbus' dynamic team, based at the prestigious Broughton site where you will be situated within the Wing Build Production section.

If you have experience in a similar role, you are invited to join us at Airbus and embark on essential and challenging work, as aircraft wings are among the most technically intricate components of an aircraft.

About the role

  • Precision machine aircraft components from various materials using CNC and manual equipment, adhering to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with strict aerospace standards and tolerances.

Shift

  • Days: 3 on 4 off - 07:00am-19:00pm
  • Nights: 3 on 4 off - 19:00pm-07:00am

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for individuals who have completed a full Apprenticeship in Machining along with an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).

At Broughton, the site designs, tests, and manufactures the wings for all Airbus' commercial aircraft, except for the A220, directly sustaining about 9,000 UK jobs. It is home to a workforce of 6,000 highly skilled personnel, boasting a proud tradition of aerospace manufacturing dating back 80 years, having produced such aviation classics as the Wellington and Lancaster, and De Havilland's Mosquito and Comet.
