Shift Pattern: 5 days on, 4 days off | 12-hour rotating days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) | Average 40.5 hours per week
Security Clearance: BPSS+ Clearance required (completed by Airbus Security)
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Driver / Forklift Operator to join a busy operational team supporting critical logistics activities within a highly regulated aviation environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in driving, transportation, warehouse operations, or logistics who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are paramount.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring materials and goods are transported, handled, and stored efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.
As a Warehouse Driver / Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for:
- Safely operating company vehicles, including vans and forklift trucks
- Transporting materials and equipment both on-site and to designated off-site locations
- Loading, unloading, handling, and moving goods in line with operational and compliance requirements
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Supporting warehouse activities including packing, documentation checks, and stock handling
- Adhering to all company quality, safety, and security procedures
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience within driving, transport, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments
- The flexibility to work rotating shift patterns, including nights
- Forklift certification (or the willingness and ability to obtain certification)
- Experience within aviation, defence, regulated logistics, or highly controlled environments
