Service Coordinator

Payrate: Β£14 per hr. via PAYE

Contract Length - ASAP to until 31st Dec 2026

Location: WF12, Dewsbury, UK

Working Pattern: Fully Onsite - 40hr. per week (8:30 - 17:00)

Purpose of Job:

Manage the service delivery on a daily basis, including the dynamic allocation of work to vehicles / routes, proactively communicating with customers, maintaining contact with drivers throughout the day, and undertaking debriefs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support drivers to act on issues identified on the rounds
  • Undertake debrief of drivers
  • Encourage 'Stop the Job' if it's unsafe, report to your Supervisor
  • Report all service concerns
  • Report all safety concerns
  • Proactively communicate with customers
  • Create a customer excellence approach & culture
  • React to and manage customer queries and complaints
  • Implement service practices that meet the customers' needs
  • Build trust & honesty & maintain commitments with customers and suppliers
  • Report all environmental concerns

QUALIFICATIONS:

IOSH Working Safely or equivalent

EFFECTIVENESS (start, monthly, 1-2-1s, annually)

  • Safety leading indicator measures (close calls)
  • Frontline engagement
  • Debrief quality, output and action resolution

OPERATIONAL:

  • Effective management of customer complaints
  • Reduction in negative call volumes, complaints and credit notes
  • Increased proactive communication

  • On time collections
