About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a Locality Safeguarding Team based in Beverley, covering the East Riding east area, including:
Withernsea
Hornsea
Hedon
Walkington
Barmston
Easington
Lund
This role sits within the Strengthening and Supporting Families Service, providing long-term support to children, adolescents, and families following assessment by the Children\’s Assessment Service
Key Responsibilities
Manage a complex caseload including:
Child Protection
Child in Need
Child Looked After
Undertake long-term social work interventions
Support children, adolescents, and families through to case closure
Work on care planning, permanence planning, and adoption pathways
Complete high-quality assessments, plans, and reports
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children
