We are working with a key UK Ministry of Defence partner seeking a hands-on Electronics Design Engineer to deliver power and analogue electronic designs for complex, safety-critical missile and weapon systems. This role offers true end-to-end ownership from concept and schematic design through qualification and production within a highly regulated defence environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing power & analogue electronic circuits at board and subsystem level
  • Owning designs across the full lifecycle in safety-critical systems
  • Working closely with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, EMC and Environmental teams
  • Supporting test, qualification, fault investigation and design improvements

What we're looking for:

  • Strong experience in power and analogue electronics design
  • Background in regulated / safety-critical industries (defence, aerospace, similar)
  • Ability to technically own complex electronic designs and influence outcomes

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our client's Security Team.

This role is based at their headquarters in Stevenage which plays a key part in missiles operations. The site also offers excellent transportation links and boasts an onsite gym and coffee shop.
