As a Senior Creative Retoucher, you will lead the creative and technical development of Client’s marketing imagery across all media types globally. Your work will range from subtle, photorealistic retouching of high-end product stills to complex lifestyle, beauty, and room-set images. You will set the gold standard in image quality, pushing creative boundaries while ensuring all output reflects Client’s engineering precision and brand values.

You will work both independently and collaboratively, interpreting briefs with insight and fluency, contributing creatively at every stage of image production. As a senior member of the team, you will drive innovation, support knowledge sharing, and inspire colleagues through your leadership, expertise, and passion for perfection.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret briefs from imagery team producers to develop on-brand, creative retouching solutions.
• Deliver high-quality, photorealistic images accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Support a broad range of media types, ensuring projects meet budget and deadline requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with creative teams, art directors, and external suppliers.
• Provide creative and technical input from concept through to final output.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges during image production.
• Champion Client’s ethos to “think different” and push creative boundaries.
• Lead project briefs with full ownership and accountability, managing end-to-end delivery.
• Mentor and inspire other team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Remain adaptable to changing priorities and flexible in skill application.
• Maintain exemplary professional conduct and a positive, “can-do” attitude.

Core Skills and Experience

Compositing

• Masterful ability to combine multiple visual elements into seamless, cohesive images.
• Strong knowledge of handling assets from 2D and 3D sources.
• Deep understanding of real-world lighting principles to achieve photorealistic results.
• Experience in traditional photography or CGI lighting preferred.

Retouching

• Expert-level retouching skills that are subtle, realistic, and enhance the narrative.
• Exceptional eye for colour accuracy, detail, and tonal consistency.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Strong understanding of RGB and CMYK colour workflows.
• Opportunity to collaborate with CGI artists and learn 3D software to enhance retouch output.

Brand Principles

• Act as a brand ambassador, embodying Client’s core values and tone across all markets.
• Ensure all imagery consistently adheres to brand guidelines and style standards.
• Benchmark imagery quality against competitors to maintain a market-leading position.
• Contribute to the evolution of Client’s visual style to stay ahead of industry trends.
