Guidant Global is partnering with a leading UK Ministry of Defence client to find a proactive Security Vetting Support Officer. You will be the first line of defence in managing personnel risk and supporting the implementation of the organisation's vetting strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment by managing security clearances for new hires
- Handle confidential vetting enquiries and liaise with UKSV & external agencies
- Maintain vetting records and lead on departmental projects
- Be the go-to contact for vetting issues and support wider security services
What Do You Need?
- Strong communication, integrity, and attention to detail
- Experience with vetting databases and multi-platform IT systems
- Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and work under pressure
- Eligible for BPSS and national security vetting
Desirable:
- Knowledge of MOD/defence vetting processes
- Experience in onboarding within the defence sector
- Personnel security awareness and training delivery skills

This job is at our client's site in Bolton facility, one of the North West's leading manufacturing sites for at least 25 years.
