Guidant Global is partnering with a trusted UK Ministry of Defence organisation to recruit a Personnel Security & Vetting Officer to support the end-to-end management of UKSV and BPSS clearance activity. This role sits within a busy security function and plays a key part in ensuring people, data and programmes remain secure.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing BPSS and UKSV vetting activity for joiners, movers and leavers
  • Acting as a key point of contact for vetting casework and clearance queries
  • Liaising with UK Security Vetting (UKSV) and external agencies
  • Maintaining accurate vetting records in line with HMG policy
  • Supporting ongoing personnel security aftercare and risk management
  • Working closely with recruitment, HR and security stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Experience supporting personnel security or vetting processes
  • Strong understanding of handling sensitive personal and security data
  • Confident managing confidential casework with integrity and discretion
  • Comfortable working in a regulated or secure environment
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain BPSS / National Security Vetting

Desirable:

  • Direct experience with UKSV and HMG BPSS processes
  • MOD or defence industry exposure
  • Recruitment or onboarding experience in secure environments

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our clients Security Team.

More about the role: Our clients relationship with the UK military spans back over 70 years. They have delivered countless landmarks in defence engineering, supplying vital defence capability to meet the needs of the armed forces over land, sea, and air. This role is based at their headquarters in Stevenage which plays a key part in missiles operations. The site also offers excellent transportation links and boasts an onsite gym and coffee shop.
