Location: RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire (100% onsite)
Contract: 6 months (likely extension)
Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 07:00-19:00)
Pay Rate: £18.30 PAYE / £24.47 Umbrella per hour
Clearance: BPSS+ (with ability to obtain SC clearance if required)
About the Opportunity
Guidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit Material Inventory Controllers to join the Airbus Atlas Support Centre at RAF Brize Norton. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical national defence programme, supporting the Royal Air Force to maintain the airworthiness and readiness of its fleet both in the UK and overseas. The work you do will directly support essential operations, making a tangible impact on public safety and national security.
You will join a collaborative logistics and warehouse team responsible for ensuring materials are managed efficiently to support maintenance and flying programmes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage material movements and transactions in line with operational priorities
- Carry out picking, packing, and stock handling activities with accuracy
- Ensure all system transactions and documentation are completed correctly (SAP and warehouse systems)
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure correct storage of materials
- Support inbound and outbound warehouse operations
- Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory audits
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Identify and escalate any process or system issues to the management team
- Collaborate with colleagues across warehouse and logistics functions
What We're Looking For

- Essential:
- Experience within a materials support, logistics, or supply chain environment
- A valid driving licence (required for site access and movement)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience using warehouse systems (e.g. SAP, Excel)
- A team-focused approach with a positive, service-oriented mindset
- Desirable:
- Forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) licence
- Knowledge of EASA Part 145 or similar regulatory environments
- Understanding of COSHH regulations
