The Role:
- Install, repair, and replace wall and floor tiles in residential properties.
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles and ensuring substrates are suitable for tiling.
- Measure, cut, and fit tiles accurately to specifications.
- Carry out reactive maintenance and refurbishment tiling works.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, colleagues, and site teams.
- Adhere to company health, safety, and compliance procedures.
- Complete required job records and documentation accurately.
- Use the company van responsibly for business-related travel.
Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Wall and Floor Tiling.
- Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
- Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
- Basic DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Previous experience carrying out wall and floor tiling works.
- Strong knowledge of tiling tools, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
