Do you have MIG Welding experience?
JCB, the UK\'s leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, is looking for keen and talented MIG Welders to join us at one of our sites in Staffordshire.
The MIG Welder role comes with a favourable hourly rate starting at £17.39 per hour.
We currently have roles for varying shifts patterns, including 4 on 4 off nights and also 4 on 4 off days.
Here are some of the daily tasks you could be handling in this fast-paced, target-driven environment:
Responsibilities
- Welding in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) using MIG welding of mild steel.
- You must possess the ability to read and understand welding drawings.
- Have effective verbal, and written skills.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience is essential for this position.
- Eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and a good timekeeping and attendance record.
Test and shifts
All applicants will be required to successfully complete a client specific weld test on-site at JCB as part of the assessment process. This may involve a butt weld, multi run, fillet weld and a boss weld. You will need to be flexible and willing to work shifts, and shift allowances will be paid in addition to an hourly rate where applicable.
