Manufacturing Controller (Stores Lineside) ? 37 Hours Per Week | Full Time | Onsite ?? Strong opportunity for contract extension or permanent employment An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Controller (Stores Lineside) to support production operations within a highly advanced manufacturing environment in Bolton. This is not a traditional warehouse role. You will work directly alongside production teams, ensuring materials, components and tooling are available to support manufacturing schedules and delivery targets. If you have experience within stores, inventory control, materials management, lineside operations or manufacturing support , wed like to hear from you. What youll be doing Managing inventory and stock control activities within a manufacturing environment Supporting lineside operations by ensuring materials are available when required Loading manufacturing work packages in line with production schedules Issuing, receiving and maintaining inventory records using SAP or similar ERP systems Monitoring shelf-life controlled items and maintaining stock accuracy Kitting components for production teams Receiving and issuing tooling Supporting goods-in and goods-out activities, including loading and unloading deliveries Working closely with manufacturing teams to maintain production flow What were looking for Experience within manufacturing stores, materials control, inventory management or production support Previous experience working in a lineside manufacturing environment Knowledge of stock control processes and inventory management Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience using SAP or other ERP systems Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel Desirable Forklift Truck (FLT) licence Knowledge of Kanban and two-bin replenishment systems Manual handling, ESD, lifting and slinging training Experience supporting aerospace, defence, automotive or advanced manufacturing operations Why apply?
