Working within a high-tech defence manufacturing environment, you'll support production by managing line-side materials, kitting, and stock flow to ensure no downtime across production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line-side material control and stock replenishment
- Kitting and preparation of production work packages
- SAP usage for inventory management and tracking
- Monitoring shelf-life and controlled stock
- Loading manufacturing cells to meet production schedules
- Goods in/out and packing support
- Applying Kanban and two-bin systems
What you need:
- Experience in stores, line-side, or production control
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (not general warehousing)
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
Desirable:
- SAP or ERP experience
- Line-side / manufacturing stores experience
- FLT licence
- Lean / Kanban exposure
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
