Design Concession Engineer (T200 Approver) – Location: Broughton (on-site). Hours: 35 hours per week, 4.5-day working pattern (07:00-19:00, flexible within business needs). Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security). Rate: £39.30 per hour PAYE or £52.00 per hour Umbrella. Travel: None required.

Guidant Global is partnering with Airbus to find a skilled and motivated T200 Design Concession Engineer to support the Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET) in Broughton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring aircraft wing components are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing:
- As a T200 Approver, you will act as a focal point for design investigations and the approval of manufacturing non-conformances, ensuring all airworthiness and safety requirements are met.
- Lead design investigations and develop robust technical solutions for manufacturing non-conformances and design issues.
- Hold and apply T200 design approval signatory for non-conformance concessions.
- Provide guidance, governance and technical leadership within the engineering team, supporting colleagues through mentoring.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering to deliver high-quality design outcomes and maintain product integrity across the industrial system.
- Report on critical technical issues through functional and delivery managers, ensuring issues are well understood and effectively resolved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance methods, processes and team efficiency.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Wing Engineering, Production, and support functions.
What we’re looking for:
- Current or previous T200 Concession Design Approval experience.
- Experience working on Airbus aircraft programmes (A320, A330, A350 ideal).
- Strong understanding of non-conformance processes.
- A motivated, proactive and resilient approach, able to work autonomously and as a supportive team member.
- The ability to simplify and communicate complex technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work while embracing change and continuous improvement.
