Join one of the UK's leading defence engineering organisations and work on products that support critical defence programmes across land, sea and air. Working within a highly skilled Paint Department, you'll be responsible for the preparation, masking, spraying and finishing of complex defence products to exacting aerospace-quality standards.

What you'll do:

  • Apply primers, specialist coatings and topcoats
  • Carry out paint spraying to approved manufacturing standards
  • Complete inspection and quality checks
  • Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Support production delivery targets across key defence programmes

What we're looking for:

  • NVQ Level 3 Surface Finishing (essential)
  • Experience in industrial, aerospace, defence, automotive or similar manufacturing environments
  • Experience of masking, preparation and paint spraying
  • Ability to work to quality and safety standards
  • Experience following manufacturing instructions and technical drawings

This job is at our client's site in Bolton facility, one of the North West's leading manufacturing sites for at least 25 years. The facility offers showers and bike racks and is near the motorway, with a petrol station outside. Amenities like an onsite canteen.
