Role Purpose: To design high quality, "stickable" and integrated technical and non-technical learning solutions for Services - that satisfy all relevant regulatory/legal/quality/standards and associated competencies.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the design of quality, "stickable" and integrated technical and non-technical learning solutions for Services (including commercial and third-party commitments), using a range of learning methodologies.
- Collaborate as part of agile resource pools with internal SMEs, external suppliers, design specialists, delivery specialists and 'manage and measure' as appropriate.
- Maintain the necessary subject matter expertise to design learning solutions for Services.
- Support the development of, and work to learning design standards and principles, including any relevant regulatory/legal/quality/standards.
- Work closely with the learning delivery team and Services SMEs to support knowledge transfer, review, refine and update content.
- Periodically act in a facilitator role to maintain awareness of learner engagement with different content and methodologies.
- Spend time with Services teams to maintain subject matter knowledge and operational experience, keeping abreast of changes and developments in business performance.
- An element of flexibility and shift work might be required for OTJ upskilling and keeping up to date with changes.
- Support broader colleague development opportunities by advising on the use of learning systems, access to digital content and apprenticeships etc, both individually and with managers and leaders.
Job Description: Be an advocate for all learning and training, encouraging the development of a learning culture. As a team member, share knowledge and best practice within the learning Strategy team, and with colleagues in learning Delivery and Operations. Refresh knowledge and understanding of developments in the field of learning and development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experienced in learning design, using a range of methodologies, across both technical and non-technical subject matter.
- Able to establish clear learning outcomes and include quantifiable means of measuring learning impact.
- Certified Instructor in receipt of a CIN number (CAA register).
- Experience of working as a team in a flexible environment.
- Able to work on multiple workstreams and projects concurrently, prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
- Line manager experience is desirable.
