Lancashire County Council is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker to join their Mental Health Review Team based in Preston. This is a rewarding locum opportunity for a skilled practitioner passionate about supporting adults with mental health needs through high-quality statutory social work.
This role offers fast-start interviews and the chance to work within a well-established countywide service delivering person-centred, strengths-based practice.
The Role- Managing a caseload of adults with mental health needs
- Completing Mental Health Act reviews and Care Act assessments
- Undertaking statutory reviews, safeguarding enquiries and support planning
- Working collaboratively with health professionals, AMHPs and partner agencies
- Producing clear, timely and high-quality assessments and reports
- Supporting service users to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience within Adults Mental Health services
- Ability to travel countywide across Lancashire
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act and Mental Health legislation
- Competitive pay up to £33.00 per hour umbrella
