Key Responsibilities:
* Support the implementation, monitoring, and optimisation of IT asset lifecycle processes in collaboration with the Software and Hardware Asset Managers.
* Track ITAM-related risks.
* Support ad-hoc software and hardware audits to identify and mitigate risks.
* Respond to specific enquiries from business users.
* Leverage the IT Asset Management tool to track software and hardware deployments, usage, and compliance.
* Generate and verify ITAM compliance and usage reports and management information, including overall asset reporting and asset cost reporting associated with divisions and cost centres in collaboration with the Software and Hardware Asset Managers.
* Provide ad-hoc support to review licence use for key vendors, ensuring compliance with guardrails, vendor agreements and legal requirements.
* Support the preparation and management of the ITAM Governance Board.
* Provide information to support the negotiation of software and hardware agreements with vendors in collaboration with procurement.
* Support the maintenance of the software and hardware catalogues in collaboration with the third-party service provider.
What do you need?
* Bachelor\’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 1-2 years of experience in an IT Asset Management role.
* Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management principles and best practices.
* 1-2 years of experience with IT asset management tools, such as ServiceNow, Snow, Flexera etc. and databases.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently under general guidance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
* In depth knowledge of licensing agreements involving software, including Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle.
