The predicted salary is between 14.4 - 17.6 £ per hour.
Pay Rate - £16.10 per hour via PAYE/£21.30 per hr. via Umbrella
Contract Length - 9 months
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all communications and correspondence are compatible with a Screen Reader.
- Providing tailored administrative support in the office, including handling post, filing and note taking.
- Work closely with Executive to manage his diary, ensuring he is fully briefed before and during meetings and events.
- Work closely with Executive to manage his inbox.
- Providing in person visual support at online and in-person events, meetings, seminars and drop-ins.
- Verbally describing surroundings, especially in new environments.
- Troubleshooting if technical issues arise.
- Ensuring necessary resources are sent to Executive prior to meeting.
- Ensuring you bring necessary resources for meeting/event.
- Communicating visual aspects of presentations and shared documents.
- Communicating visual cues.
- Minute taking and logging actions.
- Respond to email and phone enquiries.
- Carry out online research.
- Maintain positive communication and relationships with stakeholders, staff, and volunteers, gaining an in-depth understanding of networks.
- Arrange travel arrangements for in-person meetings and events.
- Providing visual assistance while walking, ensuring you have high level of attention to detail when describing obstacles.
- Take part in training, and support Executive when undertaking training that includes visual aspects.
Requirements:
- Able to clearly communicate with Rich, providing sighted support in a variety of environments.
- Excellent IT skills, experience managing a diary (Outlook) and using Microsoft 365.
- Confident in liaising with stakeholders on Rich's behalf at meetings and events, enabling introductions and supporting networking.
- A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to be part of the team.
- Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Screen Reader Software.
