Location: Apsley, Hemel Hempstead

Pay: LTD/UMBRELLA £37/hr

Hybrid: 3 days in office per week

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work within Hertfordshire County Council's Family Safeguarding Team West.
  • Provide support for children and families, using the "Family Safeguarding" approach.
  • Collaborate with multi-agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Manage caseloads of under 20 children per Social Worker.
  • Conduct assessments, care planning, reviews, and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings.
  • Participate in training, including motivational interviewing.
  • Receive regular supervision based on case risk.
  • Use iPads and work from various county "Touchdown" locations.
  • Free on-site parking available.

Person Specification

  • Qualified and Social Work England registered.
  • Minimum 1 year post-ASYE experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
