Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Work within Hertfordshire County Council's Family Safeguarding Team West.
- Provide support for children and families, using the "Family Safeguarding" approach.
- Collaborate with multi-agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
- Manage caseloads of under 20 children per Social Worker.
- Conduct assessments, care planning, reviews, and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings.
- Participate in training, including motivational interviewing.
- Receive regular supervision based on case risk.
- Use iPads and work from various county "Touchdown" locations.
- Free on-site parking available.
Person Specification
- Qualified and Social Work England registered.
- Minimum 1 year post-ASYE experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
