JCB, the UK\’s leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, are looking for keen and talented MIG Welders to join us at one of our sites in Uttoxeter. The MIG Welder role comes with a favourable hourly rate of £16.67 per hour. Here are some of the daily tasks you could be handling in this fast-paced, target-driven environment: · Welding in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) using MIG welding of mild steel. · You must possess the ability to read and understand welding drawings · Have effective verbal, and written skills To apply for the MIG Welding position, you will need an eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and a good timekeeping and attendance record. Previous MIG welding experience is essential for this position. All applicants will be required to successfully complete a client specific weld test on-site at JCB as part of the assessment process. This may involve a butt weld, multi run, fillet weld and a boss weld. You will need to be flexible and willing to work shifts, and shift allowances will be paid in addition to an hourly rate where applicable.
