Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL & Integration Specialist to join our Software Engineering team supporting the client Enablement project. This role offers the opportunity to work within a complex enterprise system landscape for a globally recognised premium automotive brand. The successful candidate will play a key role in customer data migration, system integration, data synchronisation, and API connectivity across multiple business-critical platforms. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to analyse, design, develop, and optimise integrated solutions while ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oracle Database & SQL Development
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle PL/SQL code, interfaces, packages, and stored procedures containing complex business logic.
- Write and optimise complex Oracle SQL queries for data aggregation, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Create Oracle table schemas and populate them using external data files and database links.
- Analyse, troubleshoot, fix, and improve existing PL/SQL routines and database processes.
- Implement data validation checks and balancing mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and prevent duplication or data loss.
- Data Migration & Synchronisation
- Lead and support large-scale customer data migration activities between enterprise systems.
- Identify integration gaps by comparing customer data and related objects across multiple integrated platforms.
- Design and implement data cleansing and synchronisation routines.
- Ensure high levels of data integrity, consistency, and quality throughout migration and transformation processes.
- Support end-to-end reconciliation and validation activities post-migration.
- API & Systems Integration
- Work with RESTful APIs to integrate enterprise systems and perform CRUD operations.
- Connect to and consume APIs using tools such as Postman and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Interpret and work with API documentation to understand existing integrations and services.
- Apply authentication and security principles related to RESTful APIs.
- Work extensively with JSON and XML data structures within integration workflows.
- System Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyse complex end-to-end system landscapes and customer data flows across multiple business functions.
- Understand and document business processes, data transformations, and integration dependencies.
- Design scalable and efficient integration and synchronisation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to business stakeholders and project teams.
- Present technical solutions, findings, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Oracle database development experience.
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL with the ability to create and optimise complex queries.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including:
- Interfaces
- Packages
- Stored Procedures
- Complex business logic implementation
- Proven experience migrating large volumes of customer data between systems.
- Strong understanding of data quality management, reconciliation, and duplicate prevention techniques.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with RESTful APIs in enterprise integration projects.
- Experience performing CRUD operations against remote systems using APIs.
- Strong understanding of:

- API authentication and security
- Experience using tools such as Postman for API testing and integration validation.
- Excellent system analysis and troubleshooting skills.
