About the role

Guidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit a Conformance Manager / Business Partner to support wing production at the Broughton plant. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the supply chain, where you'll play a key part in ensuring on-time, on-quality delivery through strong supplier performance and effective stakeholder collaboration. Acting as the main point of contact between suppliers and internal teams, you'll help protect production continuity, drive quality improvements, and contribute to a fully enabled, end-to-end supply chain. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of suppliers, collaborating transnationally with colleagues across procurement, quality, and operations.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing supplier conformance and performance across the supply chain. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the focal point for supplier quality and operational conformance activities
  • Ensuring immediate internal containment of supplier quality escapes identified within the plant or Final Assembly Line
  • Working directly with suppliers to implement effective containment actions at source
  • Leading root cause analysis and driving permanent corrective actions in collaboration with suppliers and the wider procurement community
  • Working closely with operational and quality teams to agree liability and confirm that corrective actions are robust and sustained
  • Monitoring and reporting supplier quality performance using KPIs and structured feedback
  • Supporting parts availability during quality events by working closely with the PIO function
  • Enabling customer protection for non-supplier liability issues during supply chain change
  • Supporting commercial teams with supplier claims by providing accurate cost data relating to containment activities
  • Collaborating with incoming inspection teams to initiate or remove high-rated inspections as required
  • Partnering with extended procurement teams to close non-occurrence events and quality system reviews
  • Driving continuous improvement opportunities across supplier performance, processes, and digital tools
  • Coordinating supplier working groups and contributing to world-class supply chain performance

What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from candidates who bring a collaborative mindset and a strong understanding of supply chain and quality environments. You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working in a supply chain, procurement, or quality-focused role
  • Confidence engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to analyse issues, identify root causes, and drive effective corrective actions
  • A good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach

No mandatory qualifications are required - this role values practical experience, clear communication, and the ability to influence positive outcomes.

Working pattern

Standard day shifts with flexi-time 35 hours per week, with paid overtime available above this threshold. On-site role based in Broughton. No regular travel required.

At Guidant Global, we're committed to creating opportunities where people can thrive. In return for your expertise, you'll benefit from:

  • Competitive hourly rates (PAYE or Umbrella options)
  • The opportunity to work on a high-profile aerospace programme
