Make a Real Difference - Social Worker (Children with Disabilities) | £23.66 per hour | Derbyshire County Council
Derbyshire County Council is recruiting three experienced Social Workers to join the Children with Disabilities Service within Children's Services. These roles focus on supporting children and adolescents with disabilities and their families, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes.
All posts are based in South Normanton, with a requirement to be office based a minimum of one day per week. Candidates must be able to meet the travel requirements across their allocated areas of Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Working with children and adolescents with disabilities and their families
- Undertaking statutory social work duties, including assessments, care planning, and reviews
- Managing complex caseloads, including safeguarding and child protection
- Completing high-quality reports for legal processes and court proceedings
- Working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes
