We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Duties

  • Operate delivery vans or vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured properly.
  • Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some packages may be bulky or weighty.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
